The Art Week 2019 was a one-off in a new and unusual location, the old police station. The atmosphere in this old building was exceptional. 24 artists, all living on Crete, most of whom were not participating for the first time, exhibited their works of sculpture, painting and photography.

As a co-operation partner, Claudia Boldura made her Art Flow Gallery available to the artists. The Art Flow Gallery also became a creative space for visitors to design a picture together with others. Children were also invited to become artistically active again. “Art for Kids” is a very popular format for young artists in Paleochora.

Also, new this year was the large musical programme with many live concerts by musicians from the region, which made Art Week a very special event.
